Dreamin' Out Loud Entertainment has officially returned ! The Kansas City, MO. based indie record label which was founded in 2009 as a Christian/Gospel recording company and ceased operations in 2016 has made it's official return with two new singles which both dropped Friday, January 28, 2022.
Although the label did release the original Christmas song, "Emmanuel(Wonderful Counselor)" performed by Amanda Ownby Stacey & written by Jordan & Mark Biel in December of 2021, these two singles are considered to be the official comeback songs for the now multi genre label.
"Catch Me If U Can", an upbeat tune about female empowerment performed by famed Kansas City Gospel artist Ms. Genetter Bradley and written by label co-owner Arthur "Poetry" Payne & "Always", a smooth Classic Soul number performed by the Soul trio IV Real and written by Mike Jones of the group & Arthur "Poetry" Payne were both released on the same day announcing the return of the label.
Let's meet the team behind "Catch Me If U Can":
Arthur "Poetry" Payne wrote the song and asked Ms. Genetter Bradley to provide vocals for the demo.
The late Thomas "TC" Griddine, studio owner, musician & singer/songwriter, originally recorded the "Catch Me If U Can" demo at his Kansas City recording studio.
The lead vocal was pulled from that demo by the San Francisco, California company AudioShake and used in the making of the finished product.
Bass, guitar, piano, organ, synth horns and drum programming were performed by Vernon Heard at The Perfectionists/Basshead Studios in LA, Calif.
The hook lyrics & melody were also written by Vernon Heard.
All background vocals were performed by Roz McCommon for Dignitary, LLC in
Bellevue, WA
Additional lead vocals were recorded at GFM Modern Studios, Blue Springs, MO by Brian Kraemer & Nic Aguero. The song was also mixed by Brian Kraemer & Nic Aguero.
And finally, the tune was mastered at REM Sound at Cliffside Park, New Jersey by Rick Essig.
